KISS DANIEL graces the PUBLIC LECTURE AND ART EXHIBITION held in memory of his late dad, Mr. Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe
PUBLIC LECTURE AND ART EXHIBITION was held on WEDNESDAY, 17th JUNE, 2015 at OLUMO ROCK TOURIST COMPLEX. The public lecture was given by Dr. AjeAruyingho, Senior Lecturer at Federal College of Education, Osiele. The exhibition runs till June 25.

ARTISTES NIGHT was held on TUESDAY, 16th June, 2015 at
JUNE 12 CULTURAL CENTER, KUTO, ABEOKUTA. The event began
by 6pm with a prayer and follow by array of music performance, dance, poem,
tribute speeches, drama presentation and many more.

INTRODUCTION: -MR. KOLA ANIDUGBE
(1951-2015) was an ICONIC figure in the world of Visual Arts in the
contemporary time in Ogun State. In appreciation of the contributions of
this great Artist to the State, the Professional Artists in Ogun State is
organizing and presenting a Memorial Programme in his honour. The event
featuring (a) Artistes Night (b) Public Lecture and (c) Visual Art Exhibition
coincides with 40th day exit and post humus 64th birthday of the great Visual
Art maestro, on 17th June, 2015. He died on the 8th May, 2015.
The Exhibition will focus on the life and times of the Artist.
RATIONALE:-The Public Lecture and
Art Exhibition are organized in honour of the giant strides and achievements of
the Late Kola Anidugbe (General Manager Olumo Rock Tourist Complex) to humanity
and Visual Art education in Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
OBJECTIVES
i. To commemorate the life and times
of KOLA ANIDUGBE as an Art Maestro of Ogun State
ii. To educate the public on documentary
function of Visual Art.
iii. To highlight political, social
and educational contributions of the ICON to the development of Ogun State.
iv. To promote creative Art
Education
V. To sustain the professional
legacies of the late Artist.

HIS FINAL REST!!!
An Iconic Ogun state Artist-cum-Art Educator whose life
has imparted many.
Fine &Applied Art, FCE, 1992- 1996; SIWES Coordinator,
FCE, 2002-2010; Dean school of Vocational Education, FCE, 2004-2006, Dean
Students Affairs, FCE, 2006-2010.
He was appointed as GM of Olumo
Rock Tourist Complex in 2012 till his death on 8th day of May, 2015.
He was buried in his house at Osiele, Abeokuta on Saturday 9th of
May, 2015 at about 6pm.
...Uncle Kay, now that the sun
has set for you, the artists in Ogun state and beyond, say Goodnight! We all
love you but God love you more.
