educator & General Manager of Olumo tourist complex Abeokuta, Mr Uthman
Kolawole Uthman Anidugbe (HND, B Ed, M. Art Education). An Iconic Ogun state Artist-cum-Art Educator whose life
has imparted many.
He was born on June 17th 1951, he
attended African Church Grammar School (1967 - 1971), Yaba College of
Technology, Yaba, Lagos (1976-!980), University of Mossouri, Colombia, USA
(1984-1986).
He was the pioneer Chairman of the Society
of Nigerian Artists (SNA), Ogun state chapter; Motivator and pioneer founder of
NSEA, OLUMO ART MOVEMENT, Ogun state; Sandwich coordinator fine and applied
arts department, FCE, osiele Abeokuta, 1990-1992; HOD Fine &Applied Art, FCE, 1992- 1996; SIWES Coordinator,
FCE, 2002-2010; Dean school of Vocational Education, FCE, 2004-2006, Dean
Students Affairs, FCE, 2006-2010.
He was appointed as GM of Olumo
Rock Tourist Complex in 2012 till his death on 8th day of May, 2015.
He was buried in his house at Osiele, Abeokuta on Saturday 9th of
May, 2015 at about 6pm.

has set for you, the artists in Ogun state and beyond, say Goodnight! We all
love you but God love you more.
Kola you have departed so soon. I never knew that our meeting at the University of Missouri, USA will be the last time on this planet. It was a mere happenstance to find your obituary online today almost two years after have departed this world. It is still very difficult for me to absorb. You were such a well-mannered gentleman with genuine conviction for your area of discipline. May God grant you eternal rest. Tony
